This circular saw features Makita built electronically controlled BL motor that delivers 5,100 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Eliminating the carbon brushes, this BL brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life. It has Automatic Speed Change technology that helps to adjust cutting speed and torque during cutting for optimum performance. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger.
