Description

The Makita 3-1/4 Inch planer is perfect for construction framing, window and door installation and fine woodworking applications. Two-blade cutter head is powered by a 7.5 Amp motor that delivers an operating speed of 16,000 RPM for efficient stock removal. Double-edged carbide blade has the capacity to plane 3-1/4 Inch wide and 5/32 Inch deep surfaces in just a single pass. Base is made from precision aluminum material that gives added strength and accurate results. Ball bearing construction increases the longevity of the motor and the tool. Spring-loaded stand elevates the base to ensure the blade and the tool is safeguarded from heavy impacts. Planer drum minimizes vibration when using the planer for heavy-duty applications. Centered balance has an ergonomic design and the front and rear handles have a rubber grip for more comfort. Depth adjustment knob allows the user to adjust the cutting depth in 0.1 mm increments. Chip ejection can be placed on either side of the tool for more convenience. Front base provides three chamfering grooves options for the user at 1.4 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm. Planer comes with a planer blade, blade gauge, socket wrench and a guide rule.
